Welcome to Lisa Badie, a new board member of Unified’s board of directors.  She will be serving on the Audit and Finance Committee.  Lisa is an experienced professional in the health care industry.  She brings strong problem solving, analytical, and mathematical skillsand is well-versed on Maryland Medicaid, physician relations, the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), and medical billing.  Lisa has been with Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore since 1998, holding positions as a financial analyst, administrator for patient accounting and administrator for Epic system implementation.  She currently serves as associate vice president for application support to include responsibility for coordinating the design, build, implementation, and ongoing support for the Epic system as well as other applications as needed.  Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
