Hoodstock XXII Raises a Record-Breaking $107,000

December 2025

We are pleased to announce Hoodstock XXII set a new record and raised $107,000.  “We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to Hoodstock to make it the cherished event we are love,” says Amy Kreitz, president and CEO of Unified.  “Thank you for standing with us in our mission to help individuals with disabilities live as independently as possible.  We support hundreds of individuals and their families throughout Maryland, and we cannot do this important work without your help.”  Amy also applauds Hoodstock’s sponsors and the commitment of the volunteers and staff.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2025 Samuel A. Tucker Memorial Can Do Award to Selina Lee by O.J. Brigance, former Unified board member and Baltimore Ravens senior advisor for player development.

The Baltimore Museum of Industry provided a vibrant backdrop as guests enjoyed great food and danced throughout the night.  The talented lineup featured Hoodstock founder Russ Causey’s band, Roses n Rust, as well as 6 Feet Apart and The Wafflers.  Hoodstock owes its fun, laid-back vibes to these gifted musicians who generously donated their time and performed for free.

Kudos also go to the Hoodstock committee members Russ Causey, Lauren Bussard, Julie Carper, Blake Curry, Virginia Curry, Migena Dilolli, Jonathan Horton, Angela Lane, Nick Richardson and Emily Sutorius for taking this year’s event to the next level.
