Unified Community Connections holds annual fundraising events that help enable the agency to continue to provide services and supports to those with disabilities and their families. Learn more about our special events including Hoodstock and the Golf Classic.
Originally Scheduled Friday, April 17, 2020 – now CANCELLED!
Unified Community Connections and the members of the Golf Classic committee have continued to monitor the situation surrounding COVID-19. Although we were hopeful to postpone our 15th Annual Golf Classic for a later date regrettably now we must cancel it.
We want to thank the Elkridge Club for doing everything they could to accommodate us, but with state-imposed restrictions still in place we would not be able to host the kind of tournament that we had hoped. This decision was not an easy one to make, but the safety of our supporters, staff, and community remains a top priority.
We remain incredibly grateful for your support and we look forward to resuming with our traditional tournament in 2021 back at Elkridge Club.

What began as a few friends having a live music party at Otterbein neighbor and former board member Russ Causey and his wife Jennifer’s home, along with neighbors Larry and Gracie Musher, has grown into a major fun-raiser to benefit Unified Community Connections. Hoodstock is the anti-black-tie charity event where guests trade in their suits and gowns for jeans and tie-dye to kick-back and enjoy picnic food, beer, wine, a silent auction, good company, and most importantly live acoustic rock and folk music from the late ’60s and early ’70s.
